Shildina (シルディナ Shirudina?) is the younger sister of Sadeena, former Miko Priestess of Q'ten Lo, and a current resident of Rock Valley. After the events of the Volume 19 she became the new Ofuda Hero of Glass' World.

Appearance[]

Shildina closely resembles her sister sharing long black hair, icy blue eyes, and Caucasian colored skin. Different from Sadeena though Shildina prefers baggy orange clothing over the skimpy tank top loincloth combination of her sister.

Shildina's therianthrope form can best be summarized as 'an Orca with legs' with her body expanding to fill out the baggy clothing.

Personality[]

Shildina is somewhat air-headed, easily losing track of where she is going when she spots something that catches her eye and giving away important things like the card containing a piece of her soul to a complete stranger simply because he was nice to her. Similar to her sister she also has a love of alcohol and fell head over heels for Naofumi for this reason, but also has a gambling problem.

Despite this, however, she has an extremely serious side built up from the constant abuse she suffered from her family trying to make her into what they consider a worthy successor to Sadeena. Initially, Shildina resents her sister greatly blaming her for abandoning her post and allowing many of the countries' problems to get worst, but over the course of their battle, the two reconcile and are at least at the level they can be called friends. It does help that before and after their Battle Sadeena did work to eliminate the root of the countries problems that Shildina was largely ignorant to.

Background[]

Shildina was born as part of the special lineage of the Orcinus related to the cult of the Water Dragon and the Heavenly Emperor, as well as the executioners of the government. She had a harsh childhood, being conceived only to replace her genius sister, who escaped from the country, and was forced to grow in an accelerated way, both physically and mentally, in order to carry the responsibilities that her elder sister left behind.

Though Shildina's childhood was harsh she was not without friends, growing up she was very close to the head advisor to the royal family Makina and Q'ten Lo's Child emperor Ruftmilia. Though she was not aware of it, Makina also conspired to take over her body once hers had worn out sufficiently and towards this end had a hole bore into Shildina's soul under the premise of Shildina's oracle training.

Trivia[]

  • Shildina has a terrible sense of direction since she tends to space out and get impressed by the simplest things.
  • When transported to Kizuna's World she was changed into her child form which Naofumi thinks is smaller than Raphtalia was when he first met her.[1]
  • If the revolution of Q'ten Lo happened before the summoning of the heroes in Glass' World, Shildina would have likely been summoned as the Legendary Ofuda wielder.[2]
