Melty's strengths lie in her diplomatic skills and water magic. She has not been seen using hand-to-hand combat.
- Musical Instruments
Melty can play musical instruments fairly well and often provides music for Filo's popular concerts.
Magic[]
Melty specializes in Water-type magic and can use up to Drifa level, it is also mentioned she is also a user of Earth-type magic, albeit not as competently as their specialization.[1] She can use the following magic and it is assumed that she can use lower-level magic (First, Zweite, etc.):
Ritual Magic[]
- Zweite/Drifa Aqua Slash「ツヴァイト/ドライファ・アクアスラッシュ Tsuvaito/Doraifaa Aqua Surasshu」
Materializes a ball of water that elongates into a sharp blade, then flies through the air at its target.[1]
- Zweite Aqua Shot「ツヴァイト・アクアショット Tsuvaito Akua Shotto」
Materializes a ball of water and fires at the target.[2] Melty is capable of using a variation of the same magic where many balls of water are shot instead, All Zweite Aqua Shot「アル・ツヴァイト・アクアショット Aru Tsuvaito Akua Shotto」.[1]
- Zweite Earth Hammer「ツヴァイト・アースハンマー Tsuvaito Aasu Hanmaa」
The user creates an earthen hammer for melee combat.[2]
- Zweite Squall「ツヴァイト・スコール Tsuvaito Skooru」
It summons a heavy rainstorm.[3]
- Anti-Zweite Fire Squall「アンチ・ツヴァイト・ファイアスコール Anchi Tsuvaito Faia Skooru」
Negates the effects of the spell Fire Squal of equal power or less.[3]
- Drifa Aqua Blast「ドライファ・アクアブラスト Doraifaa Akua Burasuto」
Sends a blast of pressurized water at the target.[4]
- First Aqua Heal
Minor healing magic using the water element.
Cooperative Magic[]
- Typhoon「タイフーン Taifuun」
Combination water and wind magic that is cast by Melty and Filo together. This spell creates a small but power tornado that is filled with rain and hail.[5]
- The Great Deep「大海原 Oounabara (lit. Great Ocean)」
- Zee Wille「ゼー・ヴィレ Zee Vire (lit. See Viele, "Great Lake/Sea" in Broken German」
This spell was cast with the cooperation of Sadeena (The Great Deep), Wyndia, and Melty (Zee Wille). It summons a massive body of water around the users, casting it like a huge aquarium. Fortunately, it only affects those the users consider an enemy, so allies will not drown in the water.[6]
- Erasing Aqua Slash「イレイズアクアスラッシュ Ireizu Akua Surasshu」
- Annihilating Wave of the Water Dragon「水龍滅波 Suiryuu Metsu Ha (lit. Water Dragon's Wave of Annihilation)」
This spell was cast with the cooperation of Sadeena, Gaelion (Annihilating Wave of the Water Dragon), Wyndia, and Melty (Erasing Aqua Slash). With the magic, Gaelion summons a dense ball of water. As he infuses his breath attack into the ball, a massive torrent of water erupts from the other side towards the target. Sadeena then leaps into the raging torrent and swims in circles until it becomes a vortex flying towards the target with Sadeena inside.[7]
- Saint Rain「セイントレイン Seinto Rein」
This spell was cast with the cooperation of Wyndia and Melty. This spell summons a rainstorm infused with holy magic, which counters curse magic.[7]
- Continental Cleft「地割れ Jiware (lit. Fissure)」
Collective Ritual Magic using Way of the Dragon Vein. This spell creates a massive split in the ground that can be used to split apart and disorient enemy forces. This was cast with Melty, Wyndia, and Imiya working together.[8]
- Thunder God「神雷 Shinrai (lit. Divine Thunder)」
Cooperation magic with Filo and Melty, this brought lightning raining down similar in power to the Judgement spell.[9]
