Appearance[]

Lesty's face was mentioned to be sharper than Myne Sophia's face. Nevertheless, she is also a beauty.

In the Manga, Lesty dressed with extremely extravagant clothing and often carried a staff with her. She also had short hair resembling a bobcut.

In the Anime, Lesty had longer hair that was partially tried into a braid. She also wore lighter clothing with some accessories.

Personality[]

Lesty shares most of the trait personality with Myne Sophia as Lesty is manipulative and scheming without regard to ethics. She also acts like a spoiled brat when she doesn't get what she wants. She differs from Malty however in that she isn't as confident and she act more like Malty's follower than a leader.

Abilities[]

Lesty has not been shown to fight, but she is very good at using or seducing other people.

Background[]

Lesty is a nobility of Melromarc by birth.

Chronology[]

Volume 1[]

When the four Legendary Heroes were summoned to Melromarc, Lesty joined Motoyasu Kitamura where she, Malty S Melromarc and Elena Haven remained Motoyasu's main companions and cheered him on while doing nothing on their own. When Rino joined the party and criticized them, the other companions sold her into slavery.

Volume 11[]

Elena Haven recounts what happened to Motoyasu Kitamura and his party during the Spirit Tortoise catastrophe. Apparently, Motoyasu went to attack the beast, but it was quickly revealed that he was way in over his head. Elena ran away first in fear, but it seems that Malty S Melromarc and Lesty also left him when he became useless to the two girls.

Later on, Malty and Lesty confront the broken Ren Amaki after he had his members killed during the Spirit Tortoise catastrophe. They convinced him that Naofumi Iwatani and Motoyasu were evil. They convinced him to teach one of their companions how to use a sword and then stole all of his things during the night. As a result, he unlocked the curse series of Greed and Gluttony.

Volume 12[]

While not explicitly mentioned, Lesty was one of Malty S Melromarc's companions during the time the princess took advantage of Itsuki Kawasumi in the same way they took advantage of Ren Amaki.

Volume 18[]

During the fight with Hidemasa Miyaji, Naofumi Iwatani was able to injure Malty S Melromarc with her own spells, which enraged Lesty and S'yne Lokk's sister then used the enraged Lesty to lead the fight against Naofumi and his companions at L'Arc Berg Sickle's castle. She brought three reincarnated individuals that she had seduced to attack the heroes, but it was ultimately unsuccessful. Lesty and one of the reincarnated individuals were killed during the fight and their souls were eaten by the Demon Dragon.

Relationships[]

Heroes[]

  • Motoyasu Kitamura: Lesty was in Motoyasu's party for the longest time of the heroes - likely due to his naivety and gullibleness. In his party, Lesty lived a good life, only requiring to give the Spear Hero encouragement every once and a while. However, as soon as being with Motoyasu posed a danger during the Spirit Tortoise catastrophe, Lesty left Motoyasu for another hero.
  • Ren Amaki: Ren was the second hero that Lesty and Malty S Melromarc took advantage of. However, since Ren was so stubborn, they found him difficult to use so they stole all of his possessions soon after they joined with him.
  • Naofumi Iwatani: Naofumi was the one Legendary Hero that Lesty was not able to take advantage of. When the Shield Hero injures Malty S Melromarc in Glass' World, Lesty decides to confront him. She seduces the Reincarnated Individual, nicknamed by Naofumi as "Enemy of the Week" and two other vanguards of the waves to attack the heroes. She was not thrilled by Naofumi's way of addressing Malty. She was even more displeased when Naofumi didn't even know who she was or her name. Naofumi faintly recognize her and brushed her off. During the fight, Lesty along with her comrades were killed and her soul was eaten by the Demon Dragon.

Companions[]

  • Malty S Melromarc (Myne Sophia): Malty was a school friend of Lesty where she teamed up with Spear Hero after a couple of days of Malty becoming his party member and she was mentioned to be noble. She shared the same mindset of Malty in many ways and was almost similar to her, thus she got along with her and joined in on all of the evil acts. Notably, despite how she had betrayed Motoyasu Kitamura, Ren Amaki and Naofumi Iwatani, she was genuinely loyal to Malty. However, while Lesty cares for Malty, it is evident that Malty has been using Lesty for her own purposes and feels no genuine friendship with her.
  • Elena Haven/Girl 1: Lesty and Elena didn't have a relationship before becoming Motoyasu Kitamura's party members, but they both enjoyed the position without doing any real work. In the end, Elena wasn't there to use Motoyasu to the extent of Lesty and Malty S Melromarc before she split off during the Spirit Tortoise catastrophe.

Trivia[]

  • Lesty's final fate was changed during the transition from web-novel to light novel.
    • In the original online story, Lesty joined Malty S Melromarc's rebellion, participating in an attack on Castle Town. Following their defeat at the hands of Naofumi Iwatani and his allies, Lesty was executed upon the orders of Queen Mirellia Q Melromarc. Her method of execution is not stated, but it is implied that Lesty was either beheaded or burned to death in a brazen bull.
    • For the light novel rewrite, Lesty suffered a much worse fate. Not only was she killed directly by Naofumi, but her soul was subsequently destroyed by the Dragon Emperor. As a result of this, Lesty's spirit ceased to exist, meaning that she could never be resurrected, reincarnated or have the luxury of entering the afterlife.
  • Throughout the story, several people have noted that Lesty looks very similar to Malty. Although they are not related, several people that do not know them have mistaken them for sisters.
  • Malty was the only person Lesty ever showed any real loyalty towards. So far, however, no explanation has been given as to why Lesty was so loyal to the villainous princess.
  • Unlike in the light novel, Lesty did not play much of a role in the anime series. This was especially evident in the third season, when Bitch was present with Ren and Itsuki but Lesty was nowhere to be seen.
