Naofumi Iwatani[]
The moment their first met at the slave tents, Atla sensed Naofumi's presence which she finds both strong, kind, but also sad. She immediately entrusted Naofumi to her brother as a result when she originally thought she almost had no time left to live. After Naofumi saves her from her illness, she becomes very affectionate towards him that it makes her brother really jealous.
Naofumi is Atla's absolute doctrine. She treats Naofumi's orders as absolute and agrees with whatever he says. She often tries to sneak into Naofumi's room to the latter's dismay and is almost always involved in nighttime skirmishes with Raphtalia, Fohl, and some other slaves whom Naofumi appointed as guards to prevent Alta from sneaking into his bed.
Atla has a strong desire to be Naofumi's shield. She sees how Naofumi often takes the brunt of the attack and tries to protect his companions to the point where he disregards his own well being. As a result, no one is strong enough to be able to ease Naofumi's burden during battle. Alta desires to be that person.

Raphtalia[]
The two are love rivals for Naofumi's attention. Like how Raphtalia is Naofumi's Sword, Atla wishes to be Naofumi's Shield which reflects how Atla wants to be to Naofumi as Raphtalia is to him (if not more). They are shown to clash constantly whenever it involves love or combat.
Aultcray Melromarc XXXII[]
Aultcray used to have a little sister who bore a striking resemblance to Alta, although that sister has already long perished due to an action of an Hakuko and her fate remained unknown. It was revealed that Aultcracy's sister married a Hakkuko and gave birth to half breed Hakukos, Atla and Fohl. When Aultcray first saw Alta, he gave off an expression that bore elements of both happiness and sadness.

Fohl[]
Atla's elder brother. He obsesses over Atla's safety to the point where he becomes overbearing. Needless to say, Atla managed to outwit Fohl's psychologically and physically from bringing him a drink that contained sleeping pills to outright jabbing his pressure points to make him faint.
Atla also has to constantly remind Fohl that she isn't the sickly child that she once was and kept doing things that Fohl didn't regard as innocent and pure to try and convince him to let her stay by Naofumi's side.
